A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver. Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. We offer this program with a pool session. Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Are you ready to try it out?
ACADEMIC
You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. If you make an open water dive, you'll practice a few more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure.
GET READY TO
CONFINED WATER / POOL SESSIONS
Arrive at the dive centre for a pool session, briefing of equipment and skills, breathing underwater, regulator removal, regulator recovery, mask clearing, alternate air source use, BCD use and some basic underwater swimming skills.
INCLUSIONS
UNA will provide all the basic scuba gear you'll use including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, and wet suit, buoyancy control device, dive gauge , and a tank. Refreshments on board and drinking water are available for all, breakfast on dive day.

1. DO I NEED TO KNOW SWIMMING?
No, since scuba dive is an introductory dive course for beginners, you don’t need to be a strong swimmer.
2. WHO IS THIS DIVE FOR?
This dive is suitable for anyone wishing to tryout scuba diving for the first time.
3. HOW DEEP AND HOW LONG IS EACH DIVE?
You will go to a maximum depth of 12mtr, under a close supervision of your Instructor at all times.
Duration of each dive will be 30-40 minutes.
4. WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?
You can do either opt for the 2-day Scuba Diver course or the full 4-day Open Water course.
