Organization: Each Camp is supervised by a Resort Manager, an Activities Manager and a Head Organizer. Urban Nomad runs the camps with all appropriate staff, including monitors, organizers, kitchen staff, secretaries, drivers, cleaning staff etc. Monitors: The organizer to student ratio is 1:5, however including all Urban Nomad staff the ratio falls to 1:2. All our monitors have been carefully selected in accordance with Urban Nomad criteria for Skillzs and experience in working with children. On top of this, Urban Nomad uses sports experts for adventure and sport activities. Training: All our summer and winter monitors and instructors have to take a two-week training course before the beginning of each season, one week of technical training and one week learning Urban Nomad philosophy and safety requirements. Staff Supervision: Our Activity Managers supervise the work of our monitors and instructors all day long. Kids Supervision: All our Spring camps, Summer Camps, Winter Camps, have a nurse and a 24 hour reception and night guard, which together with our monitors, allows us to offer a 24 hours supervision of the children.

1. Do your instructors carry mobile phones in case of emergency?
- All our instructors’ carry a mobile phone at all times that allows them to react very quickly in case of emergency.
2. Is the advance deposit included in the price?
-Yes and the deposit required to secure your child’s registration will be deducted from the total amount of your final invoice.
3. What is the best time to contact our children when they are at your camp?
-The best time to call your children is ideally between 8:00pm to 10:00pm in order not to disturb the activities.
4. What kind of insurance is required?
- It is compulsory to have health and accident insurance.
5. What is the main language at the camp?
- The main language spoken at our spring camps, summer camps or winter camps is English. All of our staff is fluent in English but they also speak a few other regional & international languages.
6. Is there an emergency number to contact the camp?
-The emergency contact number will be given to you after registration and should only be used for emergencies. (open 24h).
7. What is the mobile phone policy for the children?
-Students are not allowed to carry mobile phones during daytime activities. for safety reasons. However every day they are allowed to pick up their mobile phone at reception and use it from 8:00pm – 10:00pm

– A well balanced meal of international food freshly cooked daily. We cater for any special requirements such as food allergies, religious diet,

-We provide you with a list of clothes to bring after the registration of your child is complete and finalized, depending spring summer or winter activities.
11. Is it possible to learn skiing and snowboarding? - Of course, not during Summer but for sessions in spring or winter it is possible to learn skiing one week and snowboarding the next. It is not possible to take skiing or snowboarding for a few days only and switch after.
12. What are the children’s nationalities attending the camps?
-International Students come from all over the world and Urban Nomad is proud to welcome over 55 different nationalities every summer and winter.
